Read more…

2011 Jaguar XJ Supercharged Review & Test Drive

If you enjoy driving in the lap of luxury, then you may fit the profile of someone who may consider owning a Jaguar. Jaguar vehicles are well recognized by enthusiasts as well as the common Joe, both who admire some of the finer things in life. The all-new Jaguar XJ, despite its somewhat unfamiliar good looks, wears its new skin very well distinguishing it from the rest of the luxury car crowd.
Totally redesigned for 2010, the new Jaguar XJ literally leaves behind whatever statement the outgoing model made. The XJ is Jaguars flagship that once housed V12 engines under the bonnet and dates back to 1968. Nowadays, the V12s are replaced by supercharged V8s, which is what’s found in the new supercharged XJ. The new 2011 Jaguar XJ has innovation written all over its exterior and is subtly carried into the lavishly appointed interior. In other words, today’s hip-culture would say that the new Jaguar XJ is so 3008 while the old Jaguar XJ was 2000-late. Read more…
2011 Hyundai Elantra GLS Review & Test Drive

The all-new, totally redesigned, 2011 Hyundai Elantra now takes its proper placement just below the new Sonata when it comes to size. Entering into its fifth-generation, the new 2011 Elantra gets its styling cues directly from the bigger Sonata, which is not a bad thing at all considering how well perceived the Sonata is.
When it comes to vehicles going up against the Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic, Ford Focus and new Chevy Cruze, they better bring their A-game. Hyundai has nothing to worry about because that is just what they did; they brought out unique styling, and decent performance with superb gas mileage all wrapped up in a trusted economic package. 2011 Volkswagen Touareg TDI Short Test

Volkswagen has not always been known for intelligent product design look at the Passat W8, or better, the Phaeton, but the new 2011 Volkswagen Touareg TDI looks like a triumphant symphony in three strategic SUV: regular gas engine, hybrid and diesel.
The hybrid is the new star of the lineup for several reasons: serious go-power, eye-effect technology and the ability to turn off its gas engine at speeds up to 99 kilometers per hour, making it attractive to those who regard the electric and hybrid as a solution. But if you do not mind an extra flash to 60 km / h, 6.9 seconds for the hybrid and 5.9 you do not mind saving a nice piece of dough in the process, then the diesel is the alt-fuel Touareg for you. It has an impressive fuel consumption of 2.5-ton SUV standards and tidal torque. Plus, you’ll never spend a nickel on spark plugs. Read more…

2011 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution SE Review & Test Drive

‘A MORE DISCREET AND LESS EXPENSIVE RALLY RACER FOR THE STREET’
The all-new Limited Edition 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution SE (Special Edition) combines the best of the GSR and MR while saving you more than $3,000.00 off the price for a comparable MR model. The all-new SE slots nicely between the GSR and MR, and like the new MR, loses the high rear wing in favor of a more discreet rear lip spoiler for downforce enhancement.
The all-new EVO SE features the signature EVO MR ‘shark nose’ front fascia, HID headlamps, foglamps, large side airdams, aggressively styled sloping aluminum hood with air scoop and heat extractors, side fenders with heat extractors, deep lower side extensions, boxed fenders, a working rear air diffuser with dual, 4in. wide polished aluminum exhaust tips, and special SE badging on the lower right trunk panel. 2011 Nissan Maxima SV Review & Test Drive

‘MAXIMIZING THE SPORT IN SEDANS’
The 2011 Nissan Maxima SV puts more fun and excitement when driving a midsize family sedan. The Maxima SV still has plenty of comfort, room and luxury for families but when the time and place is right, an exciting and exhilarating vehicle to let the daily stress’s of life melt away.
At first glance I see similar features to the Nissan 370Z sports car up front with the boomerang HID headlamp clusters which are set deeper into the front fenders of the Maxima, and the blacked-out horizontal slats of the grille and lower air intake. The lower front bumper holds the round foglamps and air-intakes to cool down the front disc brakes. The bulging ‘catamaran-styled’ aluminum hood, similar to the Infiniti M Series, gives Maxima SV a formidable expression, setting the tone for the rest of the car. Read more…
2011 Suzuki Kizashi Sport SLS Review & Test Drive

In Suzuki’s quest to fit into the automotive industry of mainstream America, the new 2011 Suzuki Kizashi Sport is an honest attempt. With sales of the Kizashi only making it to more than 6,100 people last year, the Kizashi is a midsized sedan somewhat overlooked by many.
Newly refreshed for 2011, the new Suzuki Kizashi is not a bad looking car by any stretch of the imagination. As far as I am concerned, the looks of the car has nothing to do with the mediocre sales figures when compared to your Toyota Camrys or Honda Accords. Let’s face it, when you mention the name ‘Kizashi’ a car is not the first thing, (or second thing for that matter), to pop in the average Joe’s head. But then again, will the average Joe actually visit his local Suzuki dealership to test drive a new Kizashi? When was the last time you saw a Suzuki dealership that did not exclusively sell motorcycles or sport bikes? Read more…
