2011 Volkswagen Tiguan Review
The 2011 Volkswagen Tiguan is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-4 that produces 200 horsepower and 207 pound-feet of torque. All trim levels come standard with front-wheel drive, while all-wheel drive is optional on the SE and SEL. A six-speed manual is standard on the Tiguan S, while a six-speed automatic is optional on the S and standard on the SE and SEL.
In Edmunds performance testing, an all-wheel-drive SEL accelerated from a standstill to 60 mph in 8.4 seconds, which is about average for other crossovers in this class. Its EPA-estimated fuel economy is again average at 20 mpg city/25 mpg highway and 22 mpg combined for both the front- and all-wheel-drive models with the automatic, while the S trim’s standard manual is essentially the same at 19/26/22.

Ford’s performance division of Australia, FPV (Ford Performance Vehicles) has given the Boss 335 GT a little more horsepower than the new 2012 Mustang Boss 302. 2011 Mazda RX 8 review

The 2011 Mazda RX-8 has impressive handling dynamics and a roomy backseat, but loses points for its lack of low-end torque and fuel-thirsty, high-maintenance rotary engine.
Shoppers should note that the 2011 Mazda RX-8 is a carryover from last year, so opting for the 2010 Mazda RX-8 may save you some money. The RX-8 is offered in four trims: Sport, Touring, Grand Touring and R3. All feature a 212- to 232-horsepower, 1.3-liter RENESIS two-rotor rotary engine.

2012 Saab 9-3 review

2012 BMW 650i Convertible

The 2012 BMW 650i Convertible is re-styled and, as before, uses a traditional, multi-layer fabric top.
From the front, three distinct lines taper upward on each side of the car, all the way to the rear end. BMW says the flow of the bodywork was inspired by the bow wave created by a speed boat. The 2012 BMW 650i Convertible will come standard with 19-inch wheels.
BMW’s typical feature-laden dash design is centered in the 6 Series on a new, 10.2-inch display monitor. It’s one of the largest we’ve seen in a car. Unfortunately, it doesn’t add a touch-screen operating system. The 6 Series retains BMW’s cumbersome iDrive control interface for audio, navigation, etc. Read more…

2013 Porsche 918 Review

The Porsche 918 Spyder is powered by a 500-horsepower, V8 gasoline-powered engine and two electric motors (one each on the front and rear axle) that generate a combined 160 kilowatts of power, roughly the equivalent of 218 hp, for a total of 718 hp. The powertrain is mated to Porsche’s dual-clutch PDK transmission for lightening-quick shifts. Energy is stored in a fluid-cooled lithium-ion battery, which can be charged by plugging into a suitable electrical outlet.

2013 Jaguar XE Review

2013 XE exterior is either created by or set in stone yet. The elongated body and tail as you would expect from a Jaguar will be present with the short bridge. XE is based on a grid similar to those found in the XJ and XF, with air ducts in the lower front fascia. XE is a two-seater roadster and no doubt eagerly awaited Jaguar functional level of comfort, but expect the proportion to his ability to drive roadster, which means you do not see an oversupply of heavy additions.
Specifications for the all new Jaguar XE are still sketchy and wildly subject to change since the vehicle is still very much in design, but preliminary information indicates the following:
* Pricing: Expected base price around $55,000
* Engine: 3.5-liter V6 that generates 285 horsepower for the base engine.
* Transmission: Rear-wheel drive six speed automated manual transmission.

2013 BMW 3-Series Review

The next 3 is internally known as the F30 and will of course retain rear-wheel drive with available all-wheel drive; an array of diesel and gasoline engines will again be available. But downsizing is the rage, and while there will still be an inline-six, the majority of 3-series models will be powered by turbocharged four-cylinder engines. The M3 may lose its V-8 and return to a six-cylinder engine, which is likely to be turbocharged. On the other side of the spectrum, BMW could even add a three-cylinder engine, but that would be unlikely to reach the U.S. market. The four- and six-cylinder diesel engines will be highly efficient, some versions of which could even trump the current 320d EfficientDynamics Edition, which gets an astonishing 53 mpg in the European cycle. If we see a diesel 3 again in America, though, you can bet it won’t have one of the puny engines. Read more…
